    • Identify lubricant types, proper applications, and common lubrication failures

    • Describe the basic operation and failure modes of motors, pumps, fans, compressors
    • Understand bearing types, loads, sealing methods, and failure indicators
    • Understand power transmission systems and their common failure points

    • Recognize and interpret major pneumatic and hydraulic components and failures

    • Communicate findings using objective data and clear terminology
    • Report equipment conditions effectively to peers and supervisors
